Getting ready!

We are in our final days of preparation to begin our journey to the Appalachian Mountains in Kentucky and partner with MCC SWAP (Serving With Appalachian People) and to discover where God is at work there and what He would do in us. We are excited and ready to serve, to learn, to be challenged and to be changed. We have a team of 7 leaders and 21 youth. We have explored the Appalachian People we will visit and we have looked at what God thinks of those who may be poor. We plan to leave our fears and misconceptions behind, our judgements and our hang ups and go with huge measures of kindness and humility and learn more about the love of Jesus for EVERYONE.
