Well, we're up and fed and trying to figure out and learn everything we need to do to get started today. We've been split into 5 working groups and each have jobs out in the community where we will work and help improve or renovate a home.
Alarms started going off at 6am, showers happening, babbling and stretching and much rubbing of sleepy eyes. It was a long day yesterday and seemed like a short sleep. We probably all were down by 11:30 last night.
Today is cloudy and warm still - in the low teens. Breakfast is baked oatmeal, cold cereals coffee tea and juice and we might be ready for the day.
We'll post again this evening and hopefully you'll get a sense of some of the stories we're encountering. Here are some of our happy and generous hosts.
